Our Services

We are a property-centric law firm. West Virginia law requires that lawyers conduct real estate closings and examine real estate titles. These services make up 95% of what The Conrad Law Firm, L.C. does. But, we also provide services to certain individuals in the field of Wills and Estates.

The following is a fee schedule for typical matters, but please email or call to confirm a fee arrangement. Once you have done so, you may rely on such fees in preparation of a Good Faith Estimate.

Settlement or Closing Fee (Borrower Purchase Transaction HUD1 line 1101):

  • $700 (this is effective December 2009 for compliance with new RESPA law and constitutes all fees that our Firm collects from a borrower specifically including any legal or administrative fees)

Settlement or Closing Fee (Borrower Refinance Transaction HUD1 line 1101):

  • $600 (this is effective December 2009 for compliance with new RESPA law and constitutes all fees that our Firm collects from a borrower specifically including any legal or administrative fees)

Settlement of Closing Fee (Seller – HUD1 line 1101):

  • $350 (this is effective December 2009 and constitutes all fees that our Firm collects from a seller specifically including any legal or administrative fees)

If Lender’s title insurance is required in connection with a closing that we are conducting, it must be added to such borrower fees as shown on Line 1101 of the HUD1 and will be computed and added when a loan amount is determined.
